Step into the past every day of the year (except Christmas) at Fort Steele Heritage Town. A number of year-round and seasonal historical activities await you. You’ll find restored and reconstructed heritage buildings, historical reenactors, livestock, and live theater, train rides, and much, much more.
The summer season kicks off with the Dominion Day celebration on July 1 . The Dominion Day festivities include:
- Live theatre show – 1 pm
- “The Almost Shooting of Charlie Runner,” by Drew McGowan
- Birthday cake
- Live music
- Barbeque
- Family games
And there’s a lot of fun in store every day throughout the summer. Visit anytime between 10am and 5pm. Activities include:
- Wagon Rides
- Steam Train Rides
- Riverside Photography Studio
- Wild Horse Theatre Show – 1pm Daily
- Street Theatre
- Mrs. Mather’s Ice Cream Parlour
- Heritage Trade Demonstrations
