Experience the Cowboy Trail is beginning the annual tradition of providing our readers with at least one contest prize or prize package for the best photo(s) submitted. The annual Experience the Mountain Parks Photo Contest has been very popular, and we’re excited to offer a different prize to Experience the Cowboy Trail readers. We’re also beginning a monthly Trivia Contest.
Our Grand Prize winner last year was Chris Dunning of Virden, Manitoba. This year we will offer multiple prizes.
Eligibility: Employees of CMI Publishing and the contest sponsors are not eligible. There is no limit on the number of entries that any one contestant can submit.
Entry Deadlines: For our annual photo contest, entries will be received until December 15th of the year following the publication date. For example, our 2013 contest runs until 11:59 pm, December 15, 2014.
Photo Submissions: To be eligible your photo must have been taken on or near The Cowboy Trail in Alberta. Digital images should be saved as JPGs, in CMYK mode at 300 DPI. All images should have minimum dimensions of 4” by 6”. NOTE: 2 Mb is the maximum file size that you can upload.
All entries must include the name and contact information of the photographer, a caption for the photo, and specifics on the date and location as to when the image was taken.
Trivia Contests: These events are typically much shorter in duration, often running for only 30 days.
